A Good Leader and an Excellent Keynote Speaker

Leaders are considered as excellent keynote speakers because they are listened to by their members or followers. A good leader knows how to handle their audience and knows how to talk to them and give them what they want to hear. Politicians, bosses, company owners and other iconic leaders are excellent keynote speakers mainly because they have the charisma and the knowledge to gather all their members and their followers into one thought. Throughout history there have been many excellent speakers that have left their mark. Here are a couple of personalities who have left their impression on their people and on history.

 

President Abraham Lincoln - He was an excellent leader, an excellent keynote speaker and a great motivational speaker. He was the one who freed the slaves of and forever left a dint in history with that decree. This emancipation proclamation that President Lincoln issued was about the freedom of American slaves and to allow them to fight for the Union. He was in addition a strong supporter of the thirteenth amendment which ended slavery in America. Also in addition he was responsible for the bill that paved the way for the first transcontinental railroad.

 

Steve Jobs - Who can forget Steve Jobs, a brilliant leader and an excellent keynote speaker. He was a man on the prime of his career when he passed away. He made concepts and technological innovations that you would have only dreamed about possible. The father and founder of Apple Industries he was a brilliant person and a visionary. He once gave a speech at Stanford University which touched the lives of every graduating student there. What more can be said about this great innovator than to thank him for all that he has contributed to the evolution of technology.

 

Nelson Mandela - A great leader of the African people and an excellent keynote speaker who won the Nobel Peace Prize for his peaceful non violent actions for running a country. He was the one who fought to abolish and terminate apartheid in South Africa and fights for the individual rights of the citizens in his country. He was truly a visionary and a great leader to his people. And after he stepped down from being president of South Africa in 1997 he now travels around the world fighting for oppression and for people rights.

 

Pope John Paul II - A Christian icon and is considered as a living saint, former Pope John Paul II was an active humanitarian. He would travel all over the world to preach about peace and about having a strong faith in God. He would specify more on the youth, for as he says they are the leaders of tomorrow. Also an excellent keynote speaker he would travel around the world and speak and preach to the people about Christianity and about God. Even though there were constant death threats to the Pope still this would not hinder him from spreading the message of peace.
